The white grape variety with red berries comes from Spain. The wines are used in Viña de la Tierras. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2014, it is probably a natural cross between Marufo x Tempranillo. It must not be confused with the Alarije variety (with synonyms Coloraillo Gordo, Coloraillo Pequeno). The variety is cultivated in La Mancha on 272 hectares, where there are still two unidentified varieties of this name(Wine Grapes). However, in 2010, no stock was identified (Kym Anderson).
