Cinsaut Blanc

The white grape variety (also Frontignon Blanc) possibly comes from South Africa or originated there. It is probably a mutation of the red Cinsaut variety. The vine is used as a grapevine and table grape, as well as a rootstock. It is grown in small quantities in South Africa. In 2016, only 0.2 hectares of vines were reported; in 2010, there were 7 hectares (Kym Anderson). There is also a red-berried mutation called Cinsaut Gris.
