The winery is located in the commune of Lalande de Pomerol in the area of the same name (Bordeaux). It was bought by Jean-Claude Beton in 1988 and is now run by his son Françoise Beton. The vineyards cover 14 hectares and are planted with Merlot (64%), Cabernet Franc (18%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (18%). The long-lasting red wine is matured for 13 months in barriques, 30% of which are new. The second wine is called "Chevalier d'Haurange".
For my many years of work as an editor with a wine and culinary focus, I always like to inform myself about special questions at Wine lexicon. Spontaneous reading and following links often leads to exciting discoveries in the wide world of wine.
