Producer description of "Château Grand Ormeau"

The winery is located in the municipality of in the area of the same name (Bordeaux). It has a history of over 200 years. It was bought by Jean-Claude Beton in 1988 and is now run by his son Françoise Beton. The vineyards cover 14 hectares and are planted with Merlot (64%), Cabernet Franc (18%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (18%). The long-lasting red wine is aged for 13 months in 30% new barriques. The second wine is called "Chevalier d'Haurange".
