Busuioacă Vânătă de Bohotin

The grape variety with blue-purple berries originates from Romania. According to Wine Grapes, this is a synonym for the Busuioacă de Bohotin grape variety. However, according to the Romanian Ampelograph, the Busuioacă de Bohotin variety is a colour mutation of Busuioacă Vânătă de Bohotin. In the VIVC catalogue, Busuioacă Vanată is synonymous with Muscat Rouge and Busuioacă Vinată de Bohotin (with "i" instead of "a") is synonymous with Muscat Noir. In 2016, no stocks were reported for Busuioacă Vânătă de Bohotin (statistics Kym Anderson).
