Brindlbach

Riede (also Brindelbach or Bründlbach) in the municipality of Gumpoldskirchen in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region Thermenregion. The south-facing vineyards consist of sandy loam and gravel with a high lime content. The vineyard is characterised by many springs. Here, mainly the white wine varieties Chardonnay, Neuburger, Rotgipfler and Riesling are cultivated. The wineries Biegler Othmar and Schellmann, for example, have shares in the vineyard.
