Auf der Ley

A cadastral site in the municipality of Monzingen in the German wine-growing region of Nahe. It is a vineyard with a special viticultural character that is registered in the vineyard register and extends across small parts of the two individual vineyards Frühlingsplätzchen and Halenberg. The vineyard covers 2.5 hectares in a south to south-easterly orientation on blue slate, quartzite and pebble soils. Riesling is cultivated here. The Emrich-Schönleber winery, for example, has a 50% share.

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
