Areni Spitak

The white grape variety originates from Armenia. Synonyms are Spitak Areni, Spitak Malahi, Spitak Malai and Spitak Malan. It is possibly a somatic mutation of the red grape variety Areni, but this has not (yet) been confirmed by DNA analyses. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
