Alba (Rebsorte)

There are at least two grape varieties with this name. Alba is also a commonly used component of grape variety names, indicating the colour of the berries.

Argentine

The white grape variety (also Gargiulo 90412) is a new cross between Molinera Gorda (white) x Cardinal (red). The crossing took place in Argentina. The vine is mainly used as table grape. The berries have a muscat tone. However, no stocks were reported in 2016 (statistics Kym Anderson).

USA

The white grape variety originates from the USA. It is an unknown vine of the species Vitis labrusca. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
