The winery with the full name "Szent Tamás Szőlőbirtok és Pincészet" is located in the municipality of Mád in the Tokaj-Hegyalja region (Hungary). It was founded in 2009 by a group of owners. István Szepsy jr. and István Balassa are responsible for the farm. The vineyards cover 25 hectares of self-owned vineyards in the Betsek, Birsalmás, Király, Nyulásszó, Percze and the namesake Szent Tamás sites on volcanic soil with yellow and red clay. In addition, grapes are also purchased in large quantities for the quality class "local wines". In this respect, an expansion of up to 300 hectares of vineyards from contract winegrowers is planned. The varieties Furmint, Hárslevelű and Sarga Muskotály (Muscat Blanc) are cultivated and processed.
