The winery is located in the small fishing village of Advira in the Greek region of Thrace. It was built between 2000 and 2005 by Panagiotis (long-time member of the Greek parliament) and Anastasia Sgouridi. They are supported by their sons Napoleon and Sgouris. The vineyards cover ten hectares of vineyards near the Thracian Sea. They are planted with the white varieties Assyrtiko, Malagousia, Roditis and Trebbiano Toscano, and the red varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Mavroudi and Pamidi(Pamid). Vinification and bottling take place at Foundis Estate in Naoussa(Macedonia).
Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
