The winery is located in the municipality of Sörnewitz near Meißen in the German wine-growing region of Saxony. The former farmhouse dating from 1874 was acquired and restored by the Schuh family in 1990. The winery building dates back to 1874, and a second three-sided farm was added in 2008. A wine restaurant as well as holiday flats and guest rooms are attached. The farm is run by Walter and Martina Schuh. The vineyards cover five hectares of vineyards in the two single vineyards Kapitelberg and the Klausenberg, which is in sole ownership. In 1993, the vineyards were completely cleared and replanted. These are the white wine varieties Goldriesling, Grauburgunder, Kerner, Weißburgunder, Traminer, Riesling and Elbling, as well as the red wine varieties Regent, Dunkelfelder and Spätburgunder.
