The winery is located in the municipality of Traiskirchen in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region Thermenregion. The family has been growing grapes here for four generations, and today the estate is run by Josef and Jana Piriwe. A wine tavern is attached. The vineyards cover 14 hectares of vines in vineyards in the municipalities of Gumpoldskirchen, Pfaffstätten and Traiskirchen. They are planted with the white wine varieties Welschriesling, Grüner Veltliner, Rotgipfler, Chardonnay, Weißburgunder, Rotgipfler and Zierfandler, as well as with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Blauer Burgunder and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Management is close to nature and environmentally friendly. The quality criteria include rigorous yield restriction. The flagship of the house is the red wine [Pi]not Noir, which is aged for 36 months in Viennese forest oak. Other premium wines are the regional speciality Spätrot-Rotgipfler, Zierfandler Symfonie, Rotgipfler Selektion, Chardonnay Bründlbach Selektion and the Cuvée Piri Vino (Veltliner, Welschriesling, Zierfandler, Rotgipfler). In years with suitable weather conditions, Trockenbeerenauslese and ice wines are also produced. Noble brandies are also produced. The winery is a member of the Wine Route Association Thermenregion.

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
