Nocchianello Bianco

The white grape variety originates from Italy. Synonyms are Nocchianello a Spiga di Granturco, Nocchianello Peloso a Spiga di Granturco and Nocchianello Peloso Spiga Grano. The parentage is unknown. Nothing is known about possible relations to the varieties Nocchianello Nero or Nocchianello Reale. Nocchianello Bianco is a parent of the variety Verdello di Bracciano. The early ripening vine produces white wines rich in alcohol and acidity with fruity aromas. It is cultivated in Tuscany. However, no stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
