Mangiaguerra

The red grape variety (also Toccanese) originates from Italy. The parentage is unknown. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2005, there is a genetic relationship to the Campanian variety Tintore di Tramonti. However, Mangiaguerra is also a synonym for the Magliocco Dolce and Pallagrello Nero grape varieties; nothing is known about possible relationships. The variety used to be cultivated in Campania.In 2016, no stock was reported (Statistics Kym AndersonAnderson Kym).
