Mandelring

single vineyard in the municipality of Haardt (Mittelhaardt-Deutsche Weinstraße area) in the German wine-growing region of Pfalz. The south to south-east facing vineyards with slopes ranging from 5 to 20% cover 36 hectares of vineyards. The predominantly loamy sandy soils are interspersed with marly clay. The varieties cultivated here include Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Scheurebe and St. Laurent. The Kaub Karl-Heinz, Müller-Catoir and Weegmüller wineries, for example, have shares in the site.
