The winery is located in the municipality of Neustadt (Mittelhaardt-Deutsche Weinstraße area) in the German wine-growing region of Pfalz. The traditional family has been growing grapes for over 300 years. After an apprenticeship at Bassermann-Jordan, an internship at the training and research institute in Neustadt and training as a wine technician in Weinsberg, the parental business was taken over by Stefanie Weegmüller-Scherr in 1988. Dipl. Ing. Rainer Klein is responsible for the outside operation. The vineyards cover 14.5 hectares of vineyards in the single vineyards Bürgergarten, Herrenletten, Herzog and Mandelring (Haardt), Eselshaut (Mußbach), and Mönchgarten (Neustadt).
