The winery is located in the municipality of Neustadt (Mittelhaardt-Deutsche Weinstraße area) in the German wine-growing region of The traditional family has been growing grapes for over 300 years. After an apprenticeship at Bassermann-Jordan, an internship at the training and research institute in Neustadt and training as a wine technician in Weinsberg, the parental business was taken over by Stefanie Weegmüller-Scherr in 1988. Dipl. Ing. Rainer Klein is responsible for the outside operation. The vineyards cover 14.5 hectares of vineyards in the single vineyards , , and (Haardt), (Mußbach), and Mönchgarten (Neustadt).
