Lusitana

This red grape variety is a new cross between Tintinha (Petit Bouschet) x João Santarém (Castelão Francês). The cross was made in Portugal by the breeder José Leão Ferreira de Almeida. The variety is grown in small quantities in the Centro region. In 2016, 0.2 hectares of vines were reported (Kym Anderson statistics).
