DOC area for red and white wines in the Italian region of Liguria. The zone includes the four municipalities of Bonassola, Deiva Marina, Framura and Levanto in the province of La Spezia. The Bianco is blended from Vermentino (40%), Albarola (20%), Bosco (5%), as well as other white varieties (max. 35%). The Rosso (also known as Novello) is produced from Sangiovese (30%), Ciliegiolo (20%), as well as other approved varieties (max. 50%). The Vermentino must contain at least 85% of this variety. If the grapes come from classified vineyards, Vigna can be indicated followed by the name of the vineyard.
