The white grape variety (also known as Kokkino Kakotrygis) originates from Greece. It is a somatic mutation with reddish-coloured berries of the white variety Kakotrygis (Kokkino = red). In 2016, no stocks were reported under the name Kakotrygis Kokkino (Kym Anderson statistics).
