Harding Julia

The English journalist Julia Harding studied modern languages (French and German) at Cambridge and then worked as an editor for many years. In 2001, she successfully completed training at the WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) with a diploma. Afterwards she worked for the British supermarket chain "Waitrose" in the wine department. Since 2005, she has been Jancis Robinson's assistant; the editor of the "Oxford Companion to Wine". For this work, she was responsible for updating all entries relating to oenology and viticulture for the third edition. She passed the examinations for the award of Master of Wine in record time and was awarded the MW in 2004. In this context, she received the "Robert Mondavi Award" for the best theory paper.
