Harding Julia

The English journalist Julia Harding studied modern languages (French and German) at Cambridge and then worked as an editor for many years. In 2001, she successfully completed a training programme at the WSET with a diploma. She then worked for the British supermarket chain "Waitrose" in the wine department. Since 2005 she has been assistant to Jancis Robinson, the editor of the "Oxford Companion to Wine". For the third edition of this work, she was responsible for updating all entries relating to oenology and viticulture. She passed the examinations for the award of Master of Wine in record time and was awarded the title of MW in 2004. In this context, she received the "Robert Mondavi Award" for the best theoretical work.
