fresh from the cellar

Colloquial term (also cellar cold) for a well-chilled wine with a temperature between 10 and 12 °Celsius, as normally prevails in a wine cellar. This is usually the ideal drinking temperature for most white wines. See also under Wine temperature and Wine enjoyment.
