First wine

The French term Grand Vin, which is used mainly in Bordeaux, refers to the top quality of a wine estate that bears the name of the château. In German-speaking countries, the term "Flaggschiff" or "Premiumwein" is also commonly used. The considerably cheaper and somewhat simpler line is called second wine. The top brand of a Champagne house is called Cuvée de Prestige.
