Fiaker

In Austria, the usual term for a black coffee with a shot of high-proof spirit plus Schlagobers-Häubchen (cream) and sugar to taste. According to the recipe of the Viennese coffee house Landtmann, this is kirsch (hence "Kaffee Kirsch"), according to other recipes cognac(brandy) or rum. The name of the coffee drink is derived from the Viennese horse-drawn carriages, because it is said that the horse-drawn carriages liked to drink it between two carriages.
