Probably the most famous punch in the world (even before the 1944 film with Heinz Rühmann). To make it, you need: 2 bottles of red wine, 1 bottle of high-proof rum, 4 cloves, the juice of 2 oranges, orange peel and a sugar loaf weighing about 300 grams. The orange juice and red wine are heated in a kettle and then the cloves and orange peel are added. The sugar loaf is hung across the cauldron on fire tongs, the rum poured over it and lit.
