extractive

Description (also extract-full, extract-strong, stoffig) for the positive overall impression in the context of a wine evaluation or wine address. The wine is characterised by a high and balanced content of total extract (all soluble substances except water, volatile acids and alcohol). If the extract and alcohol content is very high, one speaks of full-bodied, although the two terms can also be considered equivalent. Related terms are dense, powerful and mighty.
