Ehrwein

Old and formerly in Germany common name (also Ehrenwein) for a special wine compared to other simpler wines. Friedrich von Schiller (1759-1805) and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832) also used this term. For a special vintage the term "main wine" was used.
