Dorin

Common name in the Swiss canton of Vaud for wine made from the Chasselas variety. It is a local term with no wine law implications and is hardly ever used anymore. Dorin corresponds analogously to the term Perlan in the canton of Geneva. In contrast, Fendant is protected by name in the canton of Valais.
