IGP area for red, rosé and white wines in the French wine region of Languedoc. The former VdP area Coteaux du Libron was renamed to this denomination in 2015 to take advantage of the reputation of the commune of Béziers. It covers all 19 communes in the district of Béziers in the department of Hérault. The vineyards are located south of the Cevenenn on both sides of the Libron, which flows into the Mediterranean. Almost all the varieties authorised in Languedoc can be used. They are used to produce varietal wines and cuvées. Mainly red wines are produced, mainly from the autochthonous varieties Grenache Noir(Garnacha Tinta) and Mourvèdre(Monastrell), as well as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
