Coração-de-Galo

The red grape variety (also Colhão de Galo) originates from Portugal. The parentage (parenthood) is unknown. The variety, which is threatened with extinction, is cultivated in small quantities in the Alentejo, Algarve and Dão areas. In 2016, one hectare of vineyard area was declared (statistics Kym Anderson).
