Collerette

French term (also Cravate = tie) for the sickle-shaped label on the neck of a champagne bottle. Usually it contains the name and/or logo of the Champagne House, the year of foundation and, in the case of a Millésime (vintage champagne), the vintage. Some Champagne Houses do not use a neck label, but place all the information on the normal label.
