The winery is located in the commune of Listrac-Médoc or the area of the same name in the Médoc(Bordeaux). It was last classified as a Cru Bourgeois Supérieur in the Bordeaux classification according to the old system, which is no longer valid, in 2003. It was owned by the Saint-Affrique family until 1972, when it was taken over by a Franco-Danish-American syndicate. The winery was subsequently renovated. The vineyards cover 47 hectares of vines, planted with Cabernet Sauvignon (45%), Merlot (45%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). The long-lasting red wine matures in barriques.
Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
