CCPAE

The state authority "Consell Català de la Producció Agrària Ecològica" (Catalan Council for Organic Agricultural Production) was founded in 1994 for products from organic agriculture (and thus also viticulture) in Catalonia (Spain). Its tasks are to propose necessary measures to the competent Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Organic Farming System, to disseminate knowledge on the application of organic production systems and to elaborate a control system for all producers of products from the organic farming system. The CCPAE is also responsible for the certification of farms.
