Boggione Nero

The red grape variety originates from Italy. Synonyms are Bracone, Gorgottesco, Ingannacane and Palle di Gatto. The parentage is unknown. It is used as a winepress and table grape. No stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics). There is also a variety Boggione Rosso with the same synonyms; possibly a variant.
