The "Verband Blaufränkischland Mittelburgenland" (VBM) was founded in 1989 with the aim of positioning and promoting the production and marketing of red wines from the Blaufränkisch variety in the Austrian wine-growing region of Mittelburgenland through wine presentations, participation in trade fairs and by means of publications. It is considered the umbrella organisation of the Central Burgenland wine industry and includes the municipalities of Deutschkreutz, Großwarasdorf, Horitschon, Lutzmannsburg, Neckenmarkt, Raiding and Unterpetersdorf as well as the winegrowers' cooperatives of the region.
There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
