The white grape variety originates from Moldova. Synonyms are Alai, Albarna, Alma Izum, Alyi, Alivarna, Cacinsky's Pink Grape, Cehrayi Kacinski, Crimla's Pink Grape, Kachinski Rozovu, Krimskyi Rozovyi and Roza Reveliotti. The Russian researcher Dr. Alexander Mikhailovic Negrul (1900-1971) assigned it to the Proles pontica group in his grape variety classification. The rosy-berried variety is suitable as a wine-press and table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
