The winery is located in the municipality of Dhron (Bernkastel area) in the German Mosel growing region. The origin lies in the year 2000, when Andreas Adam reactivated his grandfather's disused winery parallel to his now completed studies in Geisenheim. The winery is run together with his sister Barbara. The vineyards cover five hectares with 40 plots in the single vineyards Häs'chen (in sole ownership) and Hofberger (Dhron) as well as Goldtröpfchen (Piesport), which are partly planted with unrooted vines. 90% of the vines are Riesling, and since 2015, some Pinot Noir has also been cultivated.
