Yhrn

Old South Tyrolean wine measure (also Orna, Ürn, Yhr, Yhre, Yhren), whose name is derived from the Latin "Urna" (jug, pot, urn) There were numerous local variants such as Bozner, Kalterer, Meraner and Klausner Yhrn. The volume is mostly given as 56.589, but also 62.5 and 77.8 litres. See also under barrel types, hollow measures and wine vessels.
