The winery is located in the municipality of Sachsendorf in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Wagram. It has been run in its present form by Anton and Elfriede Waldschütz since 1992. Four times a year, there is a Heurigen (wine tavern ) in the municipality of Obernholz. The vineyards cover 15 hectares of vineyards in two different wine-growing areas. This is in the municipality of Straß im Straßertal in the Kamptal wine-growing region, and in the municipality of Fels am Wagram in the Wagram wine-growing region in the Diebstein, Schafberg and Scheibe vineyards. The vineyards are 60% planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Weißer Burgunder and Frühroter Veltliner, and 40% with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Blauer Portugieser, Blauburger, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Environmentally friendly viticulture is practised in the vineyards; yield-reducing quality criteria include appropriate foliage work, thinning out and selective hand harvesting. The top products are marketed with the designation or quality class Reserve. The premium wines include Kamptal DAC Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, Weißburgunder Reserve Wagramer Selektion, as well as the red wine cuvées Exquisite (Blauer Portugieser, Blauburger) and W1 Reserve (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot). In years with suitable weather conditions, an ice wine is also pressed. Grape juices and noble brandies (pomace) are also produced. The winery is a member of the Wagramer Selektion winegrowers' association.
