Area classified as appellation and cru in 2005 in the department of Drôme in the southern part of the Rhône wine region. Before the survey, it was one of the communes in the Côtes du Rhône-Villages area that are allowed to add its name. The vineyards cover 1,400 hectares of vines on stony sandy and marl soils. The area is reserved for red wines, mainly blended from Grenache Noir(Garnacha Tinta), Syrah and Mourvèdre(Monastrell). Well known producers are Domaine de Ausellons, Domaine du Coriançon, Domaine de Deurre, Domaine de Moulin and Perrin & Fils.
