Tschorny Doktor

Well-known branded dessert red wine (Chernyi Doktorskii) from the Crimean peninsula in the Ukraine. The name means "black doctor", which refers to the dark colour. It is produced by the Solnechnaya Dolina winery near Sudak in the Crimea. The ruby red, alcohol-rich wine with aromas of chocolate and vanilla is among the best in the country. It is mainly made from the autochthonous grape variety Kefessiya, as well as Krona and others, and matures for three years before being put on the market.
