The white grape variety originates from Italy. Synonyms are Albaluce, Bian Roustì, Bianchera, Erbalucente, Erbalucente Bianca, Erbalus, Greco, Greco Bianco di Novara, Greco Novarese, Trebbiano Perugino, Trebbiano Verde dell'Umbria and Uva Rustìa.
