Tortosina

The white grape variety comes from Spain. Synonyms are Bobal Blanco, Nave, Plant Rico, Plant X, Ricoville and Tortosí. The parentage (parenthood) is unknown. Nothing is known about possible connections with the red Bobal or the white Alcañón (synonym Bobal Blanca). The variety is cultivated in the DO area of Valencia. In 2016, 325 hectares of vineyard area were declared with a strong downward trend (statistics Kym Anderson).
