Suze-la-Rousse

Independent municipal area comprising the three communes of Bouchet, Suze-la-Rousse and Tulette in the department of Drôme and Bollene in the department of Vaucluse. in the southern French appellation Côtes du Rhône-Villages (see AOC regulations there). Since 2017, the municipality has been allowed to additionally mention the name on the label, whereby this applies to red, rosé and white wines. The vineyards cover 450 hectares of vines with mainly gravel soils or a lime-clay mixture. The wines of the commune of Suze-la-Rousse can also be marketed under the name of Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes.
