DOCG zone (also Romagna Albana) for white wine in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna. The zone includes 22 municipalities in the foothills of the Apennines in the provinces of Bologna (7), Ravenna (5) and Forlì-Cesena (10) in Romagna, the eastern part of the region. According to legend, there was already an Albana wine in the 5th century....
