Plastic films

These are used in viticulture for various purposes. Most notably, this is done in the vineyard to bring about climatic changes. In cool areas, suspended transparent films increase the ambient temperature and promote growth. Other uses include covering the vines to protect them from rainfall towards the end of the ripening period and to keep out pest birds, and covering the soil to preserve soil moisture and suppress weed growth.
