Pago Casa del Blanco

Special wine-growing area in the municipality of Ciudad Real in the province of the same name in the Spanish region of La Mancha (Castile-La Mancha). It was classified in 2010 as the highest Spanish wine quality level Vino de Pago. The vineyards cover 93 hectares of vineyards on sandy clay soils. The red wine varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec(Cot), Tempranillo and Garnacha Tinta, as well as the white wine varieties Airén and Moscatel de Grano Menudo(Muscat Blanc) are cultivated. The area is entirely owned by the Joaquín Sánchez Garcia family.
