Wine-growing area near the municipality of Ciudad Real in the province of the same name in the Spanish region of La Mancha (Castilla-La Mancha). It was classified as the highest Spanish wine quality level Vino de Pago in 2010. The vineyards cover 93 hectares of vines on sandy loam soils. The red wine varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec (Cot), Tempranillo and Garnacha Tinta, as well as the white wine varieties Airén and Moscatel de Grano Menudo (Muscat Blanc) are cultivated. The area is solely owned by the Joaquín Sánchez Garcia family.
