Azienda Agricola Monte del Frà is located in the municipality of Sommacampagna in the province of Verona in the Italian region of Veneto. The former monastery of the monks of the Order of Santa Maria della Scala of Verona was founded in 1958 as a winery. The family business is run by Eligio Bonomo, Marica is the managing director, Eligio and Claudio Bonomo are responsible for the cellar technology. The vineyards cover 118 hectares of vineyards, planted with the white wine varieties Garganega, Trebbiano Toscano, Tai and Trebbiano di Lugana (Verdicchio Bianco), and the red wine varieties Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, Barbera, Merlot and Molinara. The product range includes various DOC/DOCG wines, such as Amarone della Valpolicella, Bardolino, Custoza, Lugana and Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso.
