The Valpolicella Valpantena subzone comprises a smaller area in the Valpantena valley in a niche of Lake Garda, characterised by a special climate. If the grapes come from classified vineyards, all wines may indicate Vigna followed by the vineyard name on the bottle label.

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
