The white grape variety is a new variety between Rosa Menna di Vacca (Parmak Cerven) x Mathiász Jánosne. It was named after the German President Paul von Beneckendorff and Hindenburg (1847-1934). The cross was made in Hungary in 1917 by the private grower Pál Kocsis. The variety is cultivated in small populations in Bulgaria and Hungary. It is mainly used as table grape but white wines are also made from it. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
