The winery "Maison Vigneronne Freses Grosjean" is located in the municipality of Fornet in the Italian region of Aosta Valley. The origins of the traditional winery date back to 1781, but it was not until 1969 that Dauphin Grosjean began bottling his own wines. Today the company is run by his grandson Vincenzo Grosjean. The vineyards cover eight hectares in the areas of Creton, Rovettaz, Touren and Tzeriat (municipality of Quart), and Castello Passerin d'Entrèves, Merletta and Senin (municipality of Saint Christophe). The white wine variety Petite Arvine is cultivated, as well as the red wine varieties Cornalin, Fumin, Gamay, Petit Rouge, Pinot Noir, Primetta and Vuillermin. The vine cultivation is environmentally friendly, since 1975 the use of insecticides has been avoided, and fertilization is done exclusively with organic substances. The annual production is about 85,000 bottles of wine.
